How it works

  1. Find the place. Any city, neighborhood, street or address on OpenStreetMap, anywhere in the world.
  2. Make it yours. Pick a style and a shape, frame it, and write a title: a name, a date, a few words.
  3. Download and print. Send the file to any print shop, or print it at home. Ready to frame.

Questions

Where do I print it?

Any print shop or online printer takes the PNG: your local copy shop, Costco, Walgreens, Staples, Mpix, Printful, Prodigi. For a framed look, choose matte paper. The 3:4 size fits standard 12×16″ and 18×24″ frames, 2:3 fits 24×36″, and A fits A4, A3 and A2.

Is the map data accurate?

Streets, water and parks come from OpenStreetMap, the map that volunteers build and keep current around the world. Coverage is excellent in cities. Very remote places may be sparse.

Can I give it as a gift?

Yes, that's what most people make them for: where they met, a first home, a hometown, a marathon route's city. Personal use and gifts are covered. For selling prints, ask first.

How does the license key work?

After checkout, Gumroad shows your key and emails it to you. Paste it under “Already bought?” and the print-ready download unlocks on that browser. Use the same key on any of your devices.

What if it doesn't work for me?

Reply to your Gumroad receipt within 14 days and you'll get a full refund, no questions asked.

Do you upload or store anything?

No. The poster is drawn in your browser. There's no account, and nothing you type leaves your device except the place search.
